Bland is a four piece alternative/indie band with punk, metal, and pop influences who are based out of Martinsburg, West Virginia. Bland was formed in August of 2001 with members Joni Mason (drums/vocals), Josh McDonald (vocals/bass), and Jeremy McDonald (vocals/guitar). In January 2003, Bland got in contact with a local/independent record company (Syphrus Recordings) to help them out. Bland has played many shows over the past 3 years in such states as Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. They have sold a good number of their first CD, "Old to Joy". In September of 2003, Bland decided to add Jeremiah Pepper (guitar/vocals) to the band for more influence and input. Bland is currently working on the follow-up to "Old to Joy", scheduled for release fall, 2004.
