BLADESRAGE The Blade started playing and writing songs in the early 80's. While in college, he hooked upwith a couple of guyswho shared his passion for playing original material. After months of grueling rehearsals the band was ready to showcase the act for live audiences. As the house act the band warmed up for such acts as, The Red Hot Chili peppers, Black Flag, and Fishbone. The band achieved a cult following but never hit the national spotlight. The band tore apart. Although disheartened Blade never gave up writing and playing his music. Blade wrote songs so unique he knew they must be recorded. A phone call to childhood friend Tony Smith was just what the doctor ordered. Tony Smith:Drums The phone call was not a suprise to Smith,he knew Blade from other projects and was a natural fit.
