Black Gun Barrels' sound has been influenced by different styles of rock, but has been defined by none. From power ballads, to punk, and everything in between, but the most noticeable attribute in BGB's songwriting must be the sweet and sour vocals and lyrics in forms of metaphors and analogies with that classic sound of alternative rock. Black Gun Barrels was founded in 2003, by vocalist/guitarist ,Otto Masaya. Soon after guitarist ,K. F. was added to B.G.B.'s line up. The fall of '03 and winter of '04 was spent writing the songs of B.G.B.'s first demo CD. The winter/spring of '04 was spent in the studio, recording what would become Autopilot. Oddly, B.G.B. has struggled since the beginning, with the desertion and addition of new band members until recent times. The summer of '04 brought both, hope and change to B.G.B.
