Bing Crosby was born as Harry Lillis Crosby on May 3rd 1903 in Tacoma, Washington. Bing was a famous actor and singer who was one of the most popular vocal artists of all time. Harry Lillis got his nickname Bing from a television show he watched as a child called Bingo. All of his friends called him Bing and his nickname just stuck with him.
