My son, my family, and my music are all spiritual to me. I am no holy roller but I trust God to show me the way. My music is a virtual smorgasboard of my influences who are Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Al Jarreau, Patsy Cline, John Prine, Gino Vannelli, The Allman Brothers, Diane Schurr, Mel Torme, Nat King Cole, ZZ Top, and so many more. You will hear a bit of them all in certain songs of mine and to them I owe plenty. I hate labels but my music should catagorized under 5 different styles being Rock, Blues, Jazz, Comedy, and Spiritual. Everything you hear is me and me alone except for the piano played on "Sweet Smell of Success which features my friend David Cox courtesy of "Iyam Records". I sing and play all the instruments. I write the lyrics and create the music. I leave certain bruises and scars on some songs because I choose to.
