WELCOME TO BEN COOPER AT ISOUND Ben Cooper is a singer songwriter that has been performing, recording, and releasing material that he has written (and co-written), since the 80's. He spent most of 2006 showcasing his material acoustically playing many club gigs and 2 summer festivals - all very well received. The music is a blend folk, blues, pop, chillout, and dance. Ben started out drumming with the band he formed "Restless”, - arguably the greatest Neo’ Rockabilly band ever. The band built its fan base in the with supports with bands The Clash, The Damned, the Ramones etc - huge cult status followed. Over the years the band has sold 100’s of thousands of records, and played around the world. Ben decided to leave Restless in the 90’s to follow his own musical path (with a complete change of direction), getting serious industry interest along the way.
