Barbie (LaFave) McHugh, born January 18, 1971. I'm happily married with 2 children and grew up and reside in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Growing up I would write poetry once in a while, but it wasn't until 2003 that I decided to concentrate on lyric writing. As a writer, I enter song contests and was a finalist in the Song of the Year contest in 2005 and 2006. My daughter is my biggest fan. I find my greatest inspiration from my family. My song types are country, pop and rock.
