Bad Uncle Sam The Story The Multi Award winning band “Bad Uncle Sam” was born in 2000 with original Members Dave Powell, Ed Lynch and Brett Asquith. The Band practiced long and hard to get the metal thing going and to get the boys out on the scene, but they went through a lot of trials and tribulations to earn their stripes…. Lynch and Powell were the two that constantly stuck it out when they lost drummers, singers and support. They replaced Asquith with Jim Thomas and continued to plow onward with Powell carrying the vocals until they found the perfect guy for the role of front man.
