The quasi-punk rasta/reggae band Bad Brains started out in 1979, then releasing their self-titled album in 1982. Another year later, the group released the album Rock for Light, and three years later coming out with I Against I. In 1993, Epic records signed Bad Brains, but considering that their album flopped horribly, the contract was "dropped". Then, Mavrick Records signed the band, only if the original band members were included, and then released God of Love in 1995. After God of Love came out, the two lead members Earl and Paul Hudson left the band, and three years later reunited under the name of Soul Brains. THE MEMBERS: Paul Hudson: a.k.a H.R.(which may or may not stand for hunting rod, a childhood nickname), lead vocals, influenced by the Clash Earl Hudson: brother of H.R., played the drums Darryl Aaron Jennifer: played bass Gary Miller: a.k.a.
