Axiom: 1. A self-evident or universally recognized truth; maxim. 2. A principal that is accepted as true without proof; postulate. [Gk. axios, worthy.] Zeal: Enthusiastic devotion to a cause, ideal, or goal. [Gk. zelos.] Bio: The music started long ago with a successful and driven high school rock group. The band Maxwell Prod played rock, punk and blues all over the Columbia River Gorge. It proved a formative musical experience. Axiom to Zeal began versatile in style and size, while members attended college and branched out into musical and other endeavors. Singer/songwriter Joshua Lind performed in intimate acoustic settings. Drummer Kris played with Jazz and rock bands as well as hip-hop production. The group played shows mixing rock classics and original songs, like a weekly 'Thirsty Thursday' in a college town. Now Axiom to Zeal remains Josh's solo project.
