Aviation Zero really started out in the fall of 2000. The band was called The End and it consisted of four guys: Derek Fay, Chuck Uber, Cameron Mullins, and Jake Haines. Well after a while they decided to pull Jake from Drums and find a more permanant fixture behind the set. And so happened that Cameron noticed a kid at school with drumsticks hanging out of his back-pack (Dan Hernandez). Cameron approached him and asked if he was interested in trying out. Dan was in another band that was going nowhere fast so he decided to try out. Dan really suprised them and he was asked to be the 5th member of The End. They played for about 8 months and Recorded a 5 song Demo. After musical differences and each one of them wanting to take the band a different direction; it left Chuck, Derek, and Dan together. They started fooling around and playing here and there but nothing really came out of it. Chuck and Derek went to go play in a band called Misled that played a few shows and record... |
