ATHANAI Born in La Habana 31 years ago. Takes his name from the Greek word for “immortal”. His style reflects the taste and colour of the new Cuba. Towards the end of 1997, this Cuban rocker-rapper made his debut-recording in Spain under the watchful eye of mentor, Miguel Bosé. “Séptimo cielo”, was widely considered by many critics as the most promising and innovative album of its time.
