Small Town Boys Make Big Noise: Anything But Reason are anything but average. At a time when cocky rock bands are a dime a dozen, ABR's mountain rock sound is truly refreshing. Contrasting mainstream pop music's facade of rock 'n' roll, ABR doesn't try to fool you with a heartthrob singer and meaningless, manufactured songs. They don't have a "look" or a specific style. What they do have is good old-fashioned rock tunes, with catchy riffs and inspiring lyrics. And what they lack is pretension. Comprised of four members, ABR has been making their own brand of original music since 1997. With only one band member change since the late 90's, ABR has been steadfast in their offerings of new rock to their small but loyal legion of fans, most of which hail from the Eastern Townships where the band originated.
