Anne Briggs is regarded by many as the finest singer of the 1960's British folk revival. Recorded back in 1972 but never previously released - ‘Sing A Song For You’ captures Anne at her glorious best. Ten songs - five originals by Anne along with beautiful traditional material like ‘Sovay’, ‘The Bird In The Bush’ and ‘Sullivan’s John’. Backing by Barry Dransfield and Steve Ashley’s Ragged Robin band.
