Former bassist with Manchesters finest The Unexpected, after numerous shows the unexpected folded in 2003 and Andy Mayes had the music bug and took his own irreverant brand of acoustic post punk to the road. First release in 2004 Rhyme without Reason sold well, and played all over the North West of England. His Southern australia tour had to be withdrawn due to illness. In 2005 Bare Bones was released to much critical acclaim, with the critical acclaim was media attention heralding him as "Eddie Vedder gone Acoustic!" and "One to watch for 2005". After numerous shows all over the Northwest Andy is returning to the studio in a few weeks to record his latest venture whilst session drumming for the Dave Green Band.
