Andrew Justin Nicoletta was born on January 20, 1973 in Suffern, New York. His childhood was spent as a mostly typical young boy in Mahwah, New Jersey and New York City, enjoying a variety of sports, movies on the weekends, and hanging out with his friends. But more life-impacting, were the musical discoveries that helped shape his life. The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Sly and the Family Stone, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, CSNY, and the Beatles were among the dozens of artists whose influence played an integral part in forging Andrew Justin’s style. Years before he would begin to play or compose, Andrew Justin studied the lyrics, and related somehow to the haunted looks on the faces of the musicians that graced the covers of many of the classic records he coveted.
