Amanda Bentley is a woman on a mission. BC born and bred, she is now based in Toronto, and clearly not afraid to go wherever the music leads her... whether opening for Tom Cochrane or Barney Bentall, or arriving in New York City at 6 pm and booking herself to perform at the legendary CBGB’s that night at 9! An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, she is equally at home with a pen in one hand and Fender guitar in the other, writing for herself and others (including Matt Brann and Greg Nori), or performing live on stage anywhere/anytime and she currently hosts a popular monthly Toronto showcase called Girls, Girls, Girls. While writing and tracking new material with producer Russ Mackay (Alanis Morisette, Brown Brigade, Kim Mitchell) for her first full length release due next year on Bhurr Records / Fontana North / Universal Music, a suggestion was made to pen a Christmas song to perform during an upcoming BC Homecoming Tour that was in the works for December.
