Who are they? The Alpacinos have been together playing punk music for 5 years. Colin (Drums), Grunter (Guitar) and Eddy (Vocals) lived together as siblings for all their unfortunate lives, while Davy (Bass) and Jamie (Guitar) joined the melting pot later. They are based in Glasgow and the surrounding area. What they done? The boys have played their brand of fast, filthy, punk at around 300 gigs all over the UK with a great response. The highlight has been support slots with Capdown of Householdname Records and New York band, The Step Kings, of Roadrunner Records. The Alpacinos have also enjoyed gigging with Tuuli, The Selecter, Sona Fariq, and Groop Dogdrill – to name-drop a few. Before putting out their last EP Aw That Kill Yer Granny Music, the band were lucky enough to play a live session on Vic Galloway’s ”Air” programme on BBC Radio Scotland.
