hummmmmm, No cookie cutter stuff here!
Should you be the kind of person that likes to explore and experience new melodies, rhythms, chord/key changes, variety,(from folk-Jazz)improvisation, real musicians, and a message about life's experiences.... Then you might want to give Allan listen...

Much of what you hear these days is "beat" driven(drum machines), 1 or 2 repetitive chord changes, samples of other peoples music, and very simple three chord songs, with nothing else going on there, and songs that "sound like" the newest big flash in the pan on the radio... and they only have one or two songs they might have been remotely involved with......the producers were the creative ones in the mix.

if that is what you like, ok, then you will not enjoy Allan's music, so move on...and keep on listening to that same old stuff over and over again!
