What started out as a solo project by ex-Childman/Torpor member, Lauro Gutierrez, has flourished into a full-fledged band. In early 2004, Lauro enlisted Wade Hodges on drums and soon after, Mindy Cook on vocals. After losing original member Donovan McMahon to Reno, NV, Wade recruited Justin Williams from his previous band, Drowning Jimmy, to play bass. Since then, All is Black has begun a steady flow of exciting original metal that rocks with reckless abandon. Not just your typical nu-metal crap, All is Black blends all their influences into a well-oiled rocking machine. AIB is poised to take the metal world by storm. One listen to their music and you will agree, All is Black is the real deal and nothing will stand in their way!
