Algren is a fresh rock band from Chicago that has burst onto the local music scene with their unique blend of introspective lyrics, searing guitar riffs, grooving rhythms and dynamic songwriting. Algren blends a few styles of music to create a sound that is big, energetic, lo-fi, raw, powerful, melodic. Algren has hit the ground running, quickly building a repertoire of songs that defy conventional labels. Known for inspiringly energetic sets, Algren played gigs all around Chicagoland and the Midwest, including highlight performances at Double Door, Elbo Room, Cubby Bear, and the Downers Grove Heritage Fest.
