In the begining, there was Chris Ross, God in the eyes of the band. And he was good. Starting as a jam band from Hickory High School, Cab 19 (softly)rocked places like Java Junction for a while, with members Wayne Butler (Rhythm Guitar), Alex Morales (Drums), and Jon Freese (Lead Guitar). And it was good. But seeing a need to expand their musical awesomeness, Wayne switched to vocals, and Bobby Cummings was recruited to play rhythm guitar. And it was better. But there was still something missing. It was found in the form of Alex Denney and his bass guitar skills. And Justin (Keys). So they played some parties, Justin blew up Denny's amp, ran away to college, and Denny swore revenge. Later, missing the strings beneath his fingers, Wayne decided to pick up his guitar again, and Bobby graciously stepped down. Jon also left the band and lead guitar was picked up by Ben Mosher.
