A Choired Taste was founded in 2000 and started at an "Open Mic" with HP Laborde and Bill Dalo meeting and doing the song "Papa", in honor of HP's dad & mom and their family's trip to the U.S.
Over the years the band has grown to 8 full time members with "guest" players like Scarlet Rivera (violin) and Abel Campos (Latin Guitar) as well as Victor Barrientos (percussion) and many others.

The band has a rich, varied eclectic sound that is difficult to "pigeon hole". It's called "Eclectic" and the decision to play this type of music was made by HP: he hates boring things. The eclectic style allows you to write songs with varying styles, so it's never boring.

The band has released 10 albums and 2 Singles with 7 videos as of June 2011. They are currently working on 3 more albums and 3 videos. Please let us know your thoughts on the band and our work.
