From an early age, probably around 7 years old, Seth was always interested in the sounds he heard. Whether it was music or the cars passing quickly outside his quiet, upstate New York home. As the youngest of six boys, there were little resources to afford him much opportunity for any sort of lessons. His brothers, all creative in their own ways, influenced Seth with their own creativity. From sketching to singing, he would practice all the time with crayons and later colored pencils and paint. Sometimes his mother would sing and Seth would quickly pick up the melodies and mumble along. At thirteen, Seth picked up his first acoustic guitar and started teaching himself how to play. He would first concentrate on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall among the other late 70's rock bands, and later begin experimenting with classical music such as Beethoven and Mozart with Dream Theater closing in.
