The 69 Eyes is a dark band from Finland formed in the early 1990\\\'s. It\\\'s main symbol is the ankh and it has helped create the genre of \\\"Goth\\\'N\\\'Roll\\\". Its current members are; Timo-Timo and Bazie on guitar, Archzie on bass, Jussi69 on drums, and the lead vocalist Jyrki69. The singer Ville Valo of the band HIM, often does back up vocals for The 69 Eyes, and has helped to promote the band. The 69 eyes originally had a very loud sound, somewhere between punk and horror flavored glam rock. They claimed to be influenced by bands such as Iggy and the Stooges and The Dead Boys. As time progressed though, their tone began to shift. By the time of their first international release in 1999, \\\'Wasting the Dawn The 69 Eye\\\'s had created their own unique sound, known as \\\"Goth\\\'n\\\'roll,\\\" by fusing Gothic melancholy and high-energy rock\\\'n\\\'roll into their works.
