557, from Warner Robins/Atlanta, GA., is a DJ and electronic experimentalist who landscapes ambient synths and catchy melodic overtones with addictive and unusual drum patterns. 557 creates a listening environment that can fascinate and entertain many different perspectives. 557 a.k.a. Retep Burleigh, first sat behind a drum set at the age of 14(?). Not long after he added guitar, bass, and piano to his musical repertois while jamming with musicians from a myriad of different musical backgrounds. In 2003 557 moved to Atlanta, GA., where he worked with many influential muse makers, and joined “Like Clockwork”, an Atlanta based Indie/Psychadelic/Pop project that has had great success.
