BIO 10 lb. Libido (Ten Pound Libido) was a group of musicians and friends from the Seattle area who's core members had been playing together for six years. 10 lb. Libido served up Seattle (and the world through the web) a tasty blend of rock, funk, swank, and nougat. Musically directed by Ryan Newman, Ten Pound Libido's style was to play many styles of music, yet still maintain the band's own personality. The band has over 2 hours of original music from which to jam on. They are also known to play off the wall covers and off the cuff improvised music on occasion, though they are by no means a cover band. 10 lb. Libido has played many house parties, select bars, and clubs in and around Seattle, Washington. The band has also played in Spokane and has been on two public access television programs.
